SelfWalk began more than a decade ago with a practical problem, a creative solution, and one very understandable motivation: founder Matt Henley wanted to spend more time on his boat dock. As a real estate agent in Chattanogga, Tennessee, Matt often found himself pulled away from weekends on Lake Chickamauga to show houses that were not always the right fit for the buyer. So, he did what any resourceful entrepreneur might do - he bought an expensive, cutting-edge 3D camera and found a better way. By capturing listings digitally, Matt helped clients narrow their search before scheduling an in-person showing. That simple idea grew into SelfWalk Imaging, serving real estate, hotels, bars, event venues, and experience-driven spaces.
As SelfWalk continued to expand, Matt saw that the virtual tour space still had real shortcomings. Many tools looked impressive, but they were not truly helping sales teams sell. They were often difficult to use, disconnected from the sales process, and not designed to generate meaningful revenue. To solve for that gap, Matt partnered with his cousin, Jacob Henley, a talented software designer, and together they began building something more useful than a traditional virtual tour - a platform designed around how hospitality teams actually sell.
From there, the team made a strategic decision to engage senior hospitality sales professionals directly in the development process. Through those conversations, one guiding principle became clear: the tool needed to be so easy that sales teams would actually use it. That insight shaped SitePro into more than a passive viewing experience. It became an active sales platform, allowing properties to showcase immersive 3D environments, guide buyers through key spaces, create dynamic room sets, highlight revenue-generating opportunities, and support more confident
